With profound sadness, we say goodbye to William E. Black of Aurora, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Black and Marie Black; and his granddaughter Bryanna Black. He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his sons, Dennis Black (Jen) of Oswego, IL and Tim Black (Shirl) of Yorkville, IL; his grandchildren, Patrick Black, Austin Black (Chloe Gitlin), Jake Black (Kym Farmer) and Hannah Black; and his siblings-in-law, Virginia Meyers (late Tom), Kieran (late Sheila), Thomas Doyle, Patrick Doyle (Patricia), Brian Doyle (Kathleen), Cecilia Doyle (Bryce Hanson) and Elizabeth Doyle.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church (701 Eola Rd, Aurora, IL 60504). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
