With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter W Flyte of Aurora, Illinois, who passed away on March 22, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Walter had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Walter may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Flyte and Eileen Flyte (Connell); his sisters, Mary and Jeanne; and his wife Jacqueline Flyte.
He is survived by: his daughters, Judi Lloyd of Missoula, MT and Beverli Carlton (James) of St. Charles, IL; and his siblings, Barbara, Sandie, Susan, John and Lynn. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren; his 15 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Oak Ridge Cemetery.
