She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Ascott and Ruth Ascott; her brother Robert Ascott; and her grandson Patrick Herbert. She is survived by: her children, Michael Herbert (Heidi), Amy Castaño (Ivan) and Mark Herbert (Kate); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Watkins (Darryl), Emily Herbert, Reagan Herbert, Josephine Castaño, Olivia Herbert, Murphy Castaño and Evan Herbert; her sister-in-law Wendy Ascott; and her nieces, Julie Byrne and Rebecca Jonas.
