He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Winckler and Doris Winckler; and his brother Gary. He is survived by: his wife Della; his daughters, Nicole Winckler, Diana Winckler, Michelle Scanlan (Jim) and Christine Paluska; and his grandsons, Tommy, Jake and Zach Stobart. He is also survived by siblings, cousins, and devoted friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed in Rich's memory to the American Cancer Society or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
