He is survived by: his wife Maricela; his children, Nadia Torres (Richard) and Rafael Jr. (Amber); his grandchildren, Tatiana, Richard II, Gabriella, Rafael III, Karizma and Klarissa; and his siblings, Jesus (Monica), Jose (Martha), Jaime (Alicia), Javier (Ana), Graciela Guerrero (Juan), Sabina Aponte (Juan), Alejandra Munoz (Juan) and Sonia Nieves (Luis). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
