She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Love and Carrie Mae Love Sr.; her husband Roy De Volt; her children, Tony Love, Rory De Volt, Sherri De Volt, Kathleen De Volt, Christopher Wayne De Volt and Sue Brown; and her siblings, Ellis Smothers, Dr. Robert Smothers, Charles Pearson, Carrie Mae Love, Ethel Canda and Wesley Love Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Eldridge Love, Linda Pearson Byrd, Marsha De Volt and Tracy De Volt; her grandchildren, De'Ron Pearson, TeRica Pearson, Tamarra Love and Beatrice Love; and her sister Evelyn Chapman. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
