It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence E. Owen Sr. of Aurora, Illinois, born in Grayville, Illinois, who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Owen and Mary Owen (Hudspeth); his wives, Phyllis and Linda; his children, Barry Owen and Kelly Owen; and his sister Sherrie Owen.
He is survived by: his children, Bill Owen (Cathy), Lawrence E. Owen, Jr. and Stephanie Owen; his grandchildren, Billy Owen, Courtney Olson, Justice Wayne Rock and Lexcey Owen; and his sister Mary Thompson. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
