It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kelly McCleary of Aurora, Illinois, who passed away on November 20, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Kelly departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Kelly may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Kelly leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her father Arthur Shaff. She is survived by: her mother Sylvia Shaff (Ory) of Montgomery; her husband Scott McCleary; her children, Ian (Vincent Marroquin) of Winter Garden, FL and Kara of Aurora; and her siblings, Robin Shaff of Montgomery, Colleen Aronson (Steve) of Northbrook and Bruce (Julia) of Peoria, IL.. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wesley United Methodist Church (14 N May St, Aurora, IL 60506). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Aurora Public Library District Foundation or Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois. Keep Kelly's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
