She was predeceased by: her spouse Muksudan Lal Malhotra; her children, Surinder Malhotra (Anjana) and Sunil Malhotra; her grandchildren, Naveen Malhotra and Nitin Malhotra; her parents, Maya Talwar and Mangat Ram Talwar; and her siblings, Jagdish Talwar, Jaikishan Talwar, Inder Talwar, Mohini Malhotra and Santosh Madhok.
She is survived by: her children, Rekha Arora (Satish), Naresh Malhotra (Anju) and Barkha Dhawan (Jagdish); her grandchildren, Parika Malhotra, Humanshi Malhotra, Paras Malhotra, Karuna Talwar (Suku), Neru LeBeau (Mike), Mohit Dhawan (Sukrita Arya), Raishali Gupta (Vinit), Jitin Malhotra and Vipin Malhotra; her great grandchildren, Blake, Maya, Miles, Sunny, Aarit, Ayanna, Aarika and Avayan; and her siblings, Rajesh Talwar, Rani Sehgal and Shalini Alaigh.
