It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Ann Gumm of Aurora, Illinois, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 24, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Joyce Ann find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elswerth Lucht (Hilda) and Brunner; and her husband Howard H. Gumm. She is survived by: her children, Christine Gumm Sexton (Pat) and Tim (Linda). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; by other relatives and friends; and by her family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at the Wisconsin Memorial Park (13235 W Capitol Dr, Brookfield, WI 53005). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Downers Grove.
