He was predeceased by: his wife Susan L. "Susie" Hughes; his grandson Nicholas Weaver; his parents, Lee Hughes and Marian Hughes; his siblings, Rosalee Karnes (late Cecil) and Roger Hughes; his parents-in-law, Joseph and Margaret Murphy; and his siblings-in-law, Rick Murphy (Maralee) and Trudy Hughes.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Britt (Marcus) of Dayton, MD, Pamela Weaver (Wayne) of Oswego, IL and Rebecca Highland (Chuck) of Braidwood, IL; his grandchildren, Katherine Emad, Joseph King (Taylor), Robin Chinchilla Marcos (Edvin), Heather Bownes (Corey), Adam Weaver (Jessica), Garrett Highland (Candace) and Kyle Highland; his great grandchildren, Emily, Ramzi Emad, Edvin, Sophia, Mario Chinchilla Marcos, Isabella, Jaxon Torres, Eviana Weaver, E'maya, Endia Bownes and Michela King; his brother Jim Hughes (Jane) of Bettendorf, IA; and his brother-in-law Roger Murphy (Carla) of Aledo, IL. He is also survived by his family, especially watching his children and grandchildren.
