We bid farewell to Frances Phelan of Aurora, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 28, 2025 at the age of 87. Frances touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Ranstead and Rose Ranstead; and her brother Joe Ranstead. She is survived by: her husband Jack Phelan; her daughter Kathleen; her grandson Damian; her great grandchild Elijah; and her siblings, Anna Turanchik Margaret (late Bill), Guy Ranstead (Joan), George Ranstead (Bella) and Peggy Ranstead.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Angels Catholic Church (120 S Lancaster Ave, Aurora, IL 60506).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Holy Angels Food Pantry in honor of Frances would be greatly appreciated.
