He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Mason and Ruth Mason (Albright); his wife Marion; his son Larry Sr.; and his daughters-in-law, Ann and Cathy Mason.

He is survived by: his son Gary Mason; his grandchildren, Tom Mason (Renee), April Tolomei (Jeff), Larry Jr. Mason (Tracy), Scott Mason (Rhonda), Adam Mason, Matt Mason (Amy) and Jenny Mack; and his brother Ron Mason (Sandy). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
