He was predeceased by: his parents, August and Mae; his brother Robert Elbrecht (Virginia); and his brother-in-law Robert Ewing. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Julie Swanson (Larry), Timothy Elbrecht (Debbie), Michael Elbrecht, Lisa Sonuga (Femi), Steven Elbrecht, Neil Elbrecht (Julie), Kevin Elbrecht (Barbara) and Patrick Elbrecht; and his sister Audrey Ewing. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren.
