As Consuelo Sosa departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Consuelo Sosa. Though Consuelo Sosa may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her cousin Liliana Janeth Morales Sosa. She is survived by: her parents, Federico Llamas and Yolanda Llamas (Sosa); her brothers, Misael Llamas (Kathia Samago) and David Llamas; her niece Maleni Llamas; and her grandmother Evelia Cortez. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Dieterle Memorial (1120 S Broadway, Montgomery, IL 60538). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Rita of Cascia Catholic Church (750 Old Indian Trail, Aurora, IL 60506).
