She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth McDonald and Wilma Gerdes McDonald; and her sister Barb Woods. She is survived by: her sons, Kent Smith (Sheryl) of Mapleton, IL and Roger Smith (Debbie) of Glenarm, IL; her grandchildren, Quinten Smith (Beth), Klent Smith (Mallory), Shane Smith (Katrina), Carley Hager (Brandon) and Casey Jones (Nicole); her close friend Kenny Roberts of Augusta, IL; and her sisters, Mary Ippensen of Augusta, IL and Janet Ludwig of Augusta, IL. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Augusta Lions Club to be used for Augusta Children's Park Projects or the Augusta Veteran's Memorial.
