It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Newell Lantz (Augusta, Illinois), who passed away on June 29, 2019, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ira and Elizabeth Kelly Lantz; his grandsons, Daniel and Matthew Lantz; and his siblings, Roy, Bill, Delbert, Archie, Lester Lantz, Maude Knott, Ruth Watt Dagit, Bernice Roskovich and Frances Myers.
He is survived by: his wife Mabel Louise Martin; and his sons, David "Kathy" Lantz of Colchester, IL and Danny "Tracey" Lantz of Des Moine, IA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
