He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Getchel and Elma Laing Getchel; his wife Kimberly Fuchs; his daughters, Carrie Buchanan (Matt), Kristy Hammann (Greg) and Kelly Brown (Dustin); his grandchildren, Hunter, Taylor, Daelyn, Makenna, Kaden and Logan; and his siblings, Joan Schroeder (Jim) and Vic Getchel (Ken). He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
