He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven Douglas and Penelope Swigert, Sr. (Moore); his grandparents, Bill, Mary Moore, Floyd and Mary Swigert; and his uncles, Bob and David.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian "Lily" Rhodes; his children, Steven of Auburn and Rose Swigert of Auburn; and his brothers, Stevie Doug Swigert, Jr. of Texas, Scott Swigert (Kelly) of Grand Prairie, TX, Chad Swigert of Plano, TX and Alex Swigert (Trish) of Springfield. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
