He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Carl and Emma Brown Grider, Sr.; his wife Geraldine Harris; his sister Betty Jane; and his son-in-law Larry Royer.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Grider (Linda), Kathy Goleman (John) and Carla Royer; and his siblings, Helen Harris (Dale) and Darrel Grider. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
