It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald J. Girod Jr. (Auburn, Illinois), born in Battle Creek, Michigan, who passed away on February 5, 2020, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his mother Carrie M. Girod (LaForest) of Carlyle; his wife Darla Baker; his children, Ronald J. "RJ" Girod III of Springfield and Krystal Girod of Ashland, VA; his granddaughter Cheyanne Herrera; his father Ron Girod; his sister Rhonda LaLena of Lombard; his sisters-in-law, Cathy Schumer of Belleville and Stephanie Baker of Ohio; and his nieces and nephews, Zachary, Jacob Schumer of Belleville, Tyler Brewer of Texas, Courtney Brewer of Ohio and Marcella Gundlach of Belleville. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
