He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Black and Helen Plowman Black. He is survived by: his brother Paul Black (Carolyn) of Springfield; his nephews, Jesse Black of Springfield and Andrew Black (Rebecca) of Belleville; and his great-nephews, Brodie Grenko, Carson Grenko and Jude Black.
