She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ralph Dozier and Dortha Highley Dozier; her husband Roy Rakes; her brother Walt Dozier; her children, Scott Rakes (Kathryn) and Rita Benson (Rodger); her grandchildren, John Benson (Rena Smith), Thomas Rakes (Jessica) and Steven Rakes (Tracy); and her siblings, Jim Dozier (Sue) and Sharon Mangold. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
