He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marion M. Cockrum and Virginia Scott Cockrum; his wife Carol Grimmett; his children, Doug Cockrum (Dana), Lora Crocker (Robert Hodson) and Linda Mullen (Mike); his grandchildren, Tony, Lora, Sarah, Nate, Kayla, Abby, Aden, Brandon and Taryn; his sisters, Donna Taylor (Darrel) and Diane Sanford; and his pet Peyton. He was also cherished by eight great-grandchildren.
