He was predeceased by: his parent Leslie; and his siblings, Stanley, Ellis, Larry, Eilleen Boesdorfer and Juanita Cardosi.
He is survived by: his close friend Shirley Deheve of Auburn; his sons, Tom Handy (Jeanne) and Jerry; and his brothers, Charles Handy (Charlene) of Virden and Harry Handy of Okawville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
