With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James I. McCaslin of Auburn, Illinois, born in Rochelle, Illinois, who passed away on June 4, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy McCaslin and Anna Card McCaslin; and his siblings, Elmer, Mac, Eugene, Mildred, Edna and Lillie.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Boesdorfer Adcock; his daughters, Karen Combes (Mike) of Cincinnati, OH, Karla Brown (Rod) of Rochelle and Kelly Kersten of Rochelle; his stepdaughters, Lori Johnson (Steve) of Auburn and Deana Bolletta (John) of Cape Coral, FL; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Smith (Michael), Nick Combes (Shaylah), Tim Combes (Kiersten), Julia Combes, Kory Brown, Emma Rannells (Cody), Kaylee Brown, Kylee Brown, Haley Brill (Cody), Kelsey Kersten, Emily Porter (Ryan), Logan Johnson (Shannon), Katie Norrenberns (Ben) and Jordan Bolletta (Tess); and his sisters, Shirley Rainwater and Rosemary Van Kirk. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
