It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James M. Kunke of Auburn, Illinois, born in Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on July 18, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Kunke and Mary Kunke (Rolando); his son Matthew Kunke; and his former wife Anita Kunke. He is survived by: his daughter Jeanette Grenke (Keith) of Shorewood, IL; his fiancée Violet Davis of Athens; his granddaughter Toni Eberhart (Tony); his partner's children, Joe (Darlene), Michelle, Jeff and Chris Powell (Aubrey); his great grandchildren, Ava, Kassidy, Elijah and Micah; and his sisters, Mary Ann "Cookie" Alberico (Phil) and Nancy Butcher (Raymond). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
