She was predeceased by: her parents, George Weaver and Verna Weaver; her former husbands, James R. Funderburk and Leo Bowsher; her husband John M. Brawner; her brothers, Homer "Joe" and Harold Weaver; her son James "Big Jim" Funderburk; and her grandson Jimmy Funderburk.
She is survived by: her children, Carol A. Surratt (late Herb) and Gary L. Funderburk. She is also survived by Two grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriner's Hospital for Children.
