He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn C. Rutherford and Katherine Frances Springer Rutherford; his wife June Easley; and his siblings, Katherine Ann Rutherford Clarizio and Donald Rutherford.
He is survived by: his son David Brett Rutherford; and his sister-in-law Janet Baggerly (Harry) of Rockville, IN. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
