She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Chasteen and Iva Chasteen (Pedigo); her husband Lloyd Eugene "Gene" Silsby; her children, Frederick Silsby and Elizabeth Ann; and her brothers, Ralph, Wayne and Glen Chasteen.
She is survived by: her children, Edith "Marie" Silsby-Zaidle of Witt and Everett Silsby (Tabitha) of Industry, IL; her grandchildren, Lindsey Wellenkamp (Justin) of Beardstown and Jared Silsby of Beardstown; her great grandchildren, Reid, Piper and Tucker Wellenkamp; and her cousin Maryann Duncheon of Oakford, IL.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
