He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Ferguson and Goldie Mae Clevenger Ferguson; his sister Nancy Brown; and his stepsister Clara Mae Curry. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ferguson of Auburn; his sons, Brian Ferguson (Brenda) of Girard, Troy Ferguson (Amanda) of Virden and David "Scotty" Ferguson (Michelle) of Auburn; and his nieces and nephews, Merle, Wendell and John. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.
