With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Jean Woodruff of Auburn, Illinois, born in Assumption, Illinois, who passed away on April 9, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Wempen and Beulah Wempen (Cole); her husband William F. Woodruff; her son Bob; her brother Bob; her sister-in-law Betty Jo Wempen; her sister Eloise; and her brother-in-law Warren Cartmell.
She is survived by: her sons, Tom Woodruff (Becky), Mike Woodruff and Ken Woodruff (Peggy) of Hood River, OR; her daughter-in-law Nancy Woodruff; her grandchildren, Mike (Angela), Jeff (Dawnetta), Bill (Nicole), Jim (Amanda), Winston, Logan Woodruff, Jackie Richmond (Jay) and Jennifer Zwartverwer (Luke); and her brother Jim Wempen of Arizona. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
