He is survived by: his children, Joe Garrett (Cathy) of Huntley, John Garrett (Kim) of Moline, Theresa Miller (Brad) of Centralia and Kathy Smith of Charleston. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
