She was predeceased by: her parents, Orval C. Heit and Leola K. Frahm Heit; her son-in-law Harold Ponder; and her brother Lyle Dean Heit. She is survived by: her husband William H. Carlyle; her daughters, Katana S. Ponder of Hammond, Ramona A. Carlyle of Arthur and Marcia G. Hackett (Dave) of Tuscola; her sister Darlene Harshbarger (Larry) of Ft. Myers, FL; and her sister-in-law Patty Heit of Atwood. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
