With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene Weir (Atwood, Illinois), who passed away on October 3, 2019 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. Edgar Wilkin and Blanche Vivian Weir (Kamm); his significant other Colleen Wildman; his children, Kathleen Weir of Bloomington, IL, Rebecca Maier (Steve) of Fayetteville, NC, Jennifer Bauersfeld (Rick) of Funks Grove, IL, Suzanna Weir-Birkey (Andy) of Bloomington, IL and David Weir (Colleen) of Raymond, IL; and his sister Nancy Abraham (Bruce) of Monticello, IL. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
