It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Fay Garrett (Atwood, Illinois), born in Lovington, Illinois, who passed away on October 13, 2018, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Stinson and Aileen Stinson (Phillips); and her children, Joe Garrett of Huntley, John Garrett of Moline, John Chapman of Springfield, Theresa Miller (Brad) of Centralia and Kathy Smith of Charleston.
She is survived by: her husband Merle Garrett of Atwood; and her siblings, Kenneth Stinson (Laura) of Somonauk, Carol DeHart (Robert) of Scottsville, KY and Joan Edwards of Dover, DE.. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
