She is survived by: her husband Lynn Sass; her children, Carolyn Mick (Jess), Craig Sass (Amy), Shannon Sass (Jenni) and Kyle Sass; her grandchildren, Stephanie (Holden), Kolbie, Logan, Claire, Hannah (Jay) and Preston; her great grandchildren, Lorelei, Alyas, Jasper and Rukia; and her siblings, Gilbert "Bucky" VadeBoncouer, Sue Lennertz (Ray), Wendy Sandlin (Ed), Karen Kozinski and Carol Bastic (Steve).
