It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Moore of Atwood, Illinois, born in Palestine, Illinois, who passed away on December 19, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Purcell and Minnie Purcell (Hawkins); her husband James Ziegler; her sons, Leroy and Mike Ziegler; her sons-in-law, Darrell Eveland and Phil Otey; and her siblings, Marie, Faye, Maxine, Bob, Bill, Jack and Paul Purcell.
She is survived by: her children, Bertha Eveland of Atwood, IL, Sarah Stansberry of Mahomet, IL, Norma Otey of Flat Rock, IL, Robert Ziegler (Paula) of Rockford, IL and Richard Ziegler (Lana) of Waco, TX; and her sister Ruth Sheese of Robinson, IL.. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren.
