She is survived by: her son Douglas Parks (Toye); her grandchildren, Alvin Tyler Parks, Jaton Parks of Los Angeles and Sharon Maxwell (Jason) of Atlanta; her great grandchildren, Dylan Hairston and Scott Maxwell of Atlanta; her nieces and nephews, Kimberly Jones, Mary Washington, Winston McGill, Jr. (Sheryl), Brian McGill (Venzoria) and Matthew McGill (Mia); and her cousin Mamie Woods of Chicago.
