He was predeceased by: his parents, Godfrey Hodel and Mabel Hodel (Stalter); his wife Laura Charlene Athey; and his son Jeffrey Hodel. He is survived by: his children, Rhonda J. DeSplinter, Wendy Jacobs (Allen) of Erie, IL and Cody Hodel; his daughter-in-law Darcy Hodel; his grandchildren, Linnzi, Leesha, Jeffrey, Jr., Randi Winfree (James), Jesse DeSplinter (Amanda), Josh Jacobs (Stina) and Jordan Jacobs (Priya); his sisters, Jean Brady of Mesa, AZ and Elaine Leonard; and his friend Nick Vuckson. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and one on the way; six step-grandchildren; twelve step-great-grandchildren.
