She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas "Tom" Nowers, and Elizabeth "Betty" Nowers, Sr. (Schehl); and her brother Thomas Nowers, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Duane "Knobby" Van Vooren; her children, Robin Burrell (Thomas) of Goodyear, AZ, Perry Van Vooren (Laura) of Baroda, MI and Joseph Van Vooren (Monica) of Bettendorf, IA; her grandchildren, Vincent Van Vooren, Grace Van Vooren, Jason Burrell, Kristene Taylor and Robert Chiarelli; her great grandchild Jacob Taylor; and her siblings, Betsy Wyffels (James) and James Nowers (Fernande) of Erie, IL..
