He was predeceased by: his wife Eileen VanOpdorp; his parents, John Sr. and Florence; and his brothers, Tim and Tom.
He is survived by: his children, Seth of Hartsel, CO, Jake (Cassie) of Geneseo and Holly Johnson (Eric) of Atkinson; and his granddaughter Clarabelle. He is also survived by 5 nephews and one niece.
