She was predeceased by: her parents, Camiel Mille and Rosalie Mille (Galle); her spouse Royce F. VanVooren; her siblings, Helen Demanes Kreighbaum, Joseph Mille, Dorothy Hallas and Leonard Mille; her son-in-law Dennis Anderson; and her grandson Matthew Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Anderson of Galva, Sandra Henson of Peoria and James VanVooren (Beth) of Aledo; her grandchildren, Carl J. Anderson (Rhonda Blakey), Dale L. Anderson (Courtney), Emma M. VanVooren (Andrew Latimer) and Becca E. VanVooren; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Margaret Susman (Tom Herm) and Bonnie Obrecht (Ron). She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, Elsie's wishes were to have memorial donations go to the Elsie VanVooren Memorial Fund to be distributed to her favorite charities.
