With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna J. Van Opdorp of Atkinson, Illinois, born in Macomb, Illinois, who passed away on October 3, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Hopping and Margaret Hopping (McCormick); her siblings, Ronald, Gary, Donald, Charles Hopping and Sue Taylor; and her stepson Ryan Van Opdorp.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald Van Opdorp (Gun) of Atkinson; her children, Clifford Painter (Kathy) of Geneseo, IL, Darryl Painter of Kewanee, IL and Aimee Van Opdorp of Kalispell, MT; her stepsons, Rock Van Opdorp (Tina) of Atkinson, IL and Rory Van Opdorp (Cat) of Atkinson, IL; and her brother Leroy Hopping of Quincy, IL. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and one great- great-grandchild.
