He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloysius DeGrave and Dorothy DeGrave (DeSplinter); his brother Tom DeGrave; his brother-in-law Len Erickson; and his nephew Karsten.
He is survived by: his wife LuAnn Thurston; his children, Luke DeGrave (Amanda), Brad DeGrave (Nicole), Abbey Sanchez (Alex) and Katie Hankins (Kyle); his grandchildren, Claire, Aubrey DeGrave, Sophia, Caleb, Camden DeGrave and Jordan Sanchez; his siblings, Linda Erickson of Coyne Center, IL, Nick DeGrave (Jahnon) and Steve DeGrave (Catherine); and his sister-in-law Barb DeGrave of Boise, ID..
