She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Mizer and Vernie Mizer (Bryant); and her children, Carol Brown and Claude Brown, Jr.. She is survived by: her former husband Claude Brown, Sr.; her spouse Wendall Keim August; and her children, Rita Fuqua (Robert) of Atkinson, IL, Linda Franks (Jack), Stephen Brown (Lorna), Diana Johnson (Todd) and Laurie Wardlow (Stan). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 51 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren: sisters.
