She was predeceased by: her parents, Elvi Boyer and Virgie Boyer (Colyott); her son Jerry Capps; her grandson David Capps; and her sisters, Virginia Meador and Lena Pullian.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Capps of Atkinson; her children, Larry Capps (Sondra) of Kingston, GA, Theresa Newhouse (Bright III) of Clarendon, TX, Joyce Paxton of Douglas, WY and Janette Morgan (Bill) of Maryville, TN; her siblings, Jean Giles of Litchfield, MO and Richard Boyer of Philippines; and her daughter-in-law Denise Capps of Cambridge, IL.. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association and the Henry County Citizen Senior Center.
