With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Violet S. Atteberry of Athens, Illinois, who passed away on November 8, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Smith and Mary Smith (Fraser); her husband Edward E. Atteberry; and her stepdaughter Cathy Atteberry. She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Martin (Scott) of Kankakee, Heather Gonzales (Denis) of Athens and Mary Ann Nenninger (Glenn III) of Livonia, MI; her grandchildren, Mackennon Martin (Lydia), Caley Gilliland (Blake), Jonam Martin, Kyle Martin (Aimee), Tyler Martin (Lyndsi Lutz), Trenaty Wright (Jason), Eric Gonzales (Salena), Andrew Gonzales (Samantha Green), Glenn Nenninger IV and Abby Nenninger; and her great grandchildren, Mackellyn Martin, Brigston Wright, Tucker Wright and Eva Wendell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
