It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Peterson (Athens, Illinois), who passed away on August 26, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David S. Thompson and Jane Martin Thompson; and her brothers, Richard and William Martin. She is survived by: her husband Albert Peterson; her brother David R. Thompson (Judy); her sister-in-law Karen Thompson of Taylorville; and her pet Miss Ellie. She is also survived by two step-daughters, several nieces, nephews, cousins and her best friends.
