It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence D. Hanner of Athens, Illinois, who passed away on December 2, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd "Dutch" Hanner and Gladys Svenson Hanner; his wife Sandy; his sister-in-law Kay Hanner; and his nephew Wayne "Nick" Hanner, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Hanner (Jon Ellis) of Edwardsville and Robb Hanner (Laura) of Athens; his grandchildren, Brittany Broadwater, Maggie Black and Nick Hanner; his brother Wayne Hanner of Elkhart; his nieces, Dianne Fout (Lyle), Boo Hanner, Cheri Gieseke (Nubs) and Terri Jean; and his great-niece Michelle Conrady-Brown.
